This photograph shows an excursion train atop the Narrow Passage Railroad Bridge. This train visited the vast majority of east coast Civil War battlefields. The enterprising coordinators of this event took pictures at hundreds of locations along the route and then attempted to sell copies of those pictures to the public. This photograph was featured on a pamphlet advertising the sale.
