Lawerence Hammond

On August 15, 1924, the Woodstock Times and Edinburg Sentinel Combined reported Deputy Sheriff Raymand and Federal Agent Dirting arrested Lawrence Hammond after finding a still, fifteen gallons of whiskey, and two barrels of mash at his home near Top Knot in Shenandoah County. The exact location of this still and when it operated is unknown.
